School Council Secretary’s Report, 2010

As Secretary for the School Council, I have also undertaken an assortments of activities – not only the recording of minutes at the Council meetings but setting up Subway days for students to enjoy and setting up and maintaining the school canteen over three weeks while Melaine took a break.

Overall, my position as Secretary has helped me develop time management skills as well as leadership skills, and shows the workplace environment that I have developed new skills to help my career.

In the final School Council meeting of 2010, our Council leaders put on a dessert afternoon for the Student Representatives, to say thanks and show our appreciation of their contribution throughout the year.

School Canteen

We would like to mention our enormous appreciation to Tegan Brown, and everyone who has helped to keep our school Canteen running smoothly these last three weeks. We wish we could have provided more home baking and meals, but hope that everyone has appreciated that the Canteen did not need to close over this period.
