VIDEO CONFERENCING
Coastal Taranaki School offers many interesting and diverse courses through the Virtual Learning Network. This gives the students the oppoutunity to take part in digital lesson taught through video conference.

The Virtual Learning Network was launched to complement the wide range of video conference supported programmmes offered by schools throughout the country.

Classes are delivered via a video and audio link with a host school and a number of participant schools who are also present in the class. Our video conferencing technology allows fast, high quality, seamless communication across the country and the world. It is an excellent tool for students to take courses which many small schools such as ours are unable to offer.

TARANET CAMPUS
Taranet is a cluster of Taranaki secondary schools collaborating regionally and nationally to provide distance learning opportunities for senior students. Taranet schools include Coastal Taranaki School, St. Mary’s Dioceson, Opunake High School, Stratford High School, Inglewood High School, Waitara High School, and Patea High School.

Taranet is part of a wider network of schools, clusters of schools, tertiary institutes, and training providers offering courses to our students nationally. This distance learning education network is supported by the Ministry of Education’s Virtual Learning Network.
